You don't have to go along with the norm. Just because your family or friends are not  aware of or able to acknowledge your truth, going along with the situation does not make it ok or any less true.  You all have the abilty to fight, for you and others. You can be bold. You can surprise yourself with how strong you can be! You got this!

It Takes Time

The pain may never go away, but you can let yourself accept it and be with it. It's up to you how you move on, how you tell your story, how you will grow from your experiences and if you inspire others to speak up and make a difference.

It is natural to collapse, in fact it is necessary. You can not grow bigger and better if you don't get held back. We fall into these patterns of living at such a low level of depression, confusion, self doubt and anger and we don't even realize it. Being able to rise up from that and become even more resilient is what makes it possible to be open hearted and kind. Never stop rising, be proud to be survivor, it makes you a warrior.

“When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.” - Alexander Den Heijer

It’s not all on you, what they did to you was not your fault. You can't decide who the person is or explain why they did it, or why there are so many people with so much anger and why there are so many suffering people and places. All you can do is decide what your next step is. Are you going to flourish? Are you going to keep pushing through? Are you going to bloom?

Think about it. You are here. Out of everyone in the universe you are you. Doesn't that mean something? You have the power to fight for all the people who are unable to fight their fight. You can be thankful and can be grateful that you are here, if you look you can see the bits and pieces of goodness amongst the trauma and pain.

Don't Forget To Love Yourself

One of the best days of your life is the day you can look at yourself and know that you are home. You are your home. The way someone treats you is a reflection of them not you. The way they love you or not does not show your worth. Know that you are worth being cared for and protected. You can always come home.
